Dragoon was awarded a Phase II SBIR to follow the successful completion of our Phase I efforts. The two year project entails designing, building, testing, and flying a small, long-endurance, low-cost UAS intended for oceanic weather observation.
The UAS will be capable of reaching any part of the Atlantic Ocean from only a handful of launch sites, and will have a cost which makes single-use flights economical.
