Dragoon Technology is developing a scalable long-endurance, low-cost, networking Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) for defense and commercial uses.  We are a small startup and have received multi-year development contracts.

Dragoon has a requirement for computer engineers to support the design, development, and production of small UAS.  The position will work with a small team that includes experienced members of the UAS industry as well as new arrivals.  Design work tasking will include design, prototyping, and testing of embedded electromechanical systems.  Experience with motor drivers, power electronics, internal combustion engines or fuel injection systems, autopilots, or related technologies is desired. 

The position is in Tucson, AZ.  Due to the hands-on nature of embedded development, the position is primarily on-site, near downtown Tucson.  Work from home is available as project tasking permits.

Ideal candidates will have between 2 and 5 years’ experience, but candidates with a range of experience and skills will be considered.  Interest, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently are more important than specific experience or skillsets.
